About

The charity is set up to prevent or relieve poverty and improve the conditions of life of people who are marginalised, face social inclusion, vulnerable or homeless, principally in the Clackmannanshire area, but including any other area of Scotland. We are also working on improving sustainability and reducing waste. We have a foodbank and Community Larder, a Community Cafe and provide a Cafe Extra service which delivers a light lunch up to 3 times a week providing recipients with some friendly social contact and a gentle welfare check. Our Soup Pot provides free hot meals in a warm environment, and we run several Social Projects including Bingo Breakfast, lunch clubs, family meals and afternoon teas, providing opportunities for people to meet. We have a school uniform club that runs throughout the year, based in our charity shop in the town centre. In 2024 we introduced a food truck, which provides freshly prepared free hot meals to families across various locations .
