About

The Scottish Ahlul Bayt Society is a Shia Muslim organisation dedicated to supporting the Scottish Shia Muslim community and society at large. We aim to foster religious, racial, and cultural harmony by engaging with various communities, faiths, civil society, academic institutions, governmental bodies, and healthcare systems. Our efforts focus on education, Shia-centric religious and community activities, grassroots interfaith/intrafaith projects, civic-engagement, and philanthropic and humanitarian initiatives. We provide educational activities to promote a deeper understanding of Shia Islam and its contribution to social, communal and spiritual growth. We support community-development, especially of youth, women, and the elderly, and provide assistance to those facing disadvantage. Our goal is to foster dialogue, mutual understanding, and humanitarian collaboration for the betterment of society and the nation.
