a. To advance education through the development of Gaelic musical capabilities, skills and understanding (in particular singing) by individuals and choirs on Islay. b. To advance the Arts through the promotion and encouragement of high standards in musical performance, especially singing. c. To promote a heritage of Gaelic choral singing by developing a repertoire of traditional songs and through participating in such competitions, concerts and other appropriate events as the Choir may from time to time decide.
