17th Ayr Boys Brigade

About

We seek to make a positive contribution to the lives of young people in our community. We achieve this through the national programme of activities that we offer to those aged 5 to 18 year olds. There is a progressive badge work programme from when they first start with the boys aiming to achieve the highest honour of the King's badge. We hold an awards night in May each year. Everyone attends the Dedication Service in church with their families. Senior boys attend annual camp over a weekend in a youth hostel. Everyone takes part in fund raising throughout the year. Senior boys visit the Rhema Foundation in Romania on a two yearly basis with senior officers. Officers are involved in the wider work of the Brigade.
