To work within Scotland and Internationally to promote the advancement of education, science, protection and improvement of the environment by: a) Organising lectures, debates and conferences on the effects of noise on aquatic life, some of which will be free and open to all. b) Establishing and maintaining a free to access website. c) Facilitating international exchange of information to enhance collaboration and research. d) Supporting the education of students and others by providing grants to facilitate attendance a! lectures, debates and conferences on aquatic noise and its effects. e) Distributing funding for research into the effects of noise on aquatic organisms.
