On Call Africa SCIO
✓ Registered charity · SC041546About
On Call Africa works to improve access to quality healthcare in rural Zambia by strengthening health systems and influencing policy. Its Community Health Improvement Programme (CHIPs) focuses on four pillars: facility-based quality improvement, infrastructure upgrades, community health worker training, and research. Through partnerships with the Ministry of Health, CHIPs improves service quality, workforce capacity, and data-driven decision-making. Innovative solutions like solar-powered mobile health carts (e-carts) extend services such as vaccination, ultrasounds, and health education to remote areas. Guided by community engagement, evidence-based practices, and continuous learning, On Call Africa delivers sustainable, scalable healthcare solutions to underserved rural communities.
