We provide opportunities for adults, marginalised by their inability to access technology, to enhance their knowledge and skills. they become more confident in the use of a range of digital devices. We do this in an informal and friendly social setting. The social aspect of our work is of equal importance to the learning. Our sessions are free and informal but educative and are run by highly motivated and caring volunteers. they are offered on a 1-2-1 basis at the learners own pace. Our service has transformed the lives of hundreds of digitally excluded adults in Aberdeen by breaking down barriers to technology use. Learners gain practical skills in areas such as online communication, accessing services, shopping safely, and using digital tools for health and wellbeing. This increased confidence not only helps them manage day-to-day life but also reduces social isolation, promotes independence, and improves mental wellbeing.
