About

Medics Against Violence (MAV) exists to prevent violence and support wellbeing across Scotland. We bring together health professionals, youth workers, and community partners to reduce harm, empower young people, and promote digital and personal safety. Through education, advocacy, and trauma-informed practice, we equip individuals and organisations to recognise risk, respond with care, and build safer futures. Our work spans schools, healthcare settings, and community spaces, ensuring that prevention and support are accessible, practical, and rooted in compassion.
