Girvan Community Garden, founded in 2007, is a Scottish charity dedicated to regenerating local land in Girvan and nearby villages for community benefit. We advance citizenship through volunteering, training, and providing shared spaces, with over 1,700 volunteer hours annually. The garden offers recreational facilities, attracting over 1,800 visitors each year, fostering inclusivity and well-being. Environmental sustainability is central to our work, with initiatives like organic gardening, wildlife areas, solar panels, and upcycling to reduce our carbon footprint. Funding from government, events, and donations supports our growth, ensuring we remain a hub for community connection and development.
