About

To establish and maintain a museum for the benefit of the public, to house protect, and maintain into the future such artifacts which make up the collection of aircraft, documents, books, photographs, uniforms, medals, instruments, and other material/artifacts as exist from the Royal Flying Corps and Royal Air Force squadrons stationed at Montrose between the periods 1913 to 1952, plus squadrons with a close association with Montrose as well as the RAF in Scotland since 1913 to the present day. The museum is open to the public throughout the year and guided tours are offered if required. The museum also engages with local schools and organisations to encourage visitors and to promote the aims of the museum which is run entirely by volunteers.
