About

Kingussie Community Development Company’s (KCDC) mission is to carry out and promote activities for the benefit of the community of the town of Kingussie, provide recreational facilities and advance environmental protection and improvement of the community. To do this we: own and maintain community woodland. have an active paths group who maintain paths in the town. have constructed and continue to operate a small hydro scheme on the River Gynack with income generated being donated through the Hydro Fund to projects that benefit Kingussie. We also take part in local consultations and partnership working i.e. Community Action Planning and we deliver projects to enhance the town's environment through seeking grant funding. For example, the refurbishment of the Gynack Gardens and Spey St Junction.
