Shawbost Free Church of Scotland

About

We are a congregation of the Free Church of Scotland located on the West Side of the Island of Lewis serving the villages of Shawbost, Bragar and Arnol. There are church services every Sunday, one in the morning and one in the evening along with an evening Gaelic service once a month in Bragar. There are also weekly Prayer Meetings each Wednesday. Communion services take place twice a year which include services on a Friday and a Saturday. A Sunday School takes place during the morning service on a Sunday during term time and various fellowships take place from time to time. The church also provides funeral services, weddings and baptisms as requested. From time to time we have retiring collections to support various Christian Organisations and those in our congregation facing difficulties.
