Helmsdale and Kinbrace Free Church of Scotland is a congregation of the Free Church of Scotland. A presbyterian church, the principal activity of the church is the conduct of public worship and associated activities. Activities also include fundraising for charity and mission work, Sunday school, School assemblies and children's summer event. There is a benevolent fund which was initiated to give assistance to persons with special needs within the community. The principal funding source is congregational collections.
