About

Isle Futures was set up with the main aims of the prevention or relief of poverty, the advancement of citizenship or community development, the advancement of environmental protection or improvement and the relief of those in need by reason on age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantages. After successful funding bids, the charity took ownership of the local village hall and developed the space, extending the building to include the village hall, conference meeting room and a community shop (providing the only shop in the village)and tearoom facilities. The charity and its trading arm provides employment to a number of local people each year through permanent roles as well as seasonal work. Also providing first time jobs and work experience for a number of youngsters throughout school holidays.Host and encourage local groups as well as creating a regular calendar of events and support services such as Family Fun Days, Mental Health and Wellbeing Sessions.
