About

The charity was set up to ensure care experienced and other disadvantaged young people realise their full potential through education, job choices and life chances. Funding and probono expertise was provided to support, develop and help scale multiple education focused projects. The most impactful, MCR Pathways, was founded in 2007 as an in school based mentoring programme in Glasgow, scaling across Scotland and subsequently England. MCR Pathways became an independent charity in July 2015 with probono support concluding this year. The charity is once again turning its attention to create, support and help scale other education focused initiatives for young people and to reshape both policy and practice.
