It receives grant applications from individuals, groups/clubs or organisations who are based within the community. These applications are first submitted to the local community council to determine if sufficient community benefit is reached and they then make a recommendation of approval or rejection to the trustees. If recommended, the trustees then consider if the application meets the minimum funding criteria and those which do are offered a financial award.
