The Charity exists to encourage educational, leisure and creative pursuits for those retired from full time work. It does this principally through specific interest groups, each organised by a volunteer leader, of which there were 29 during the 2023-24 financial year. In addition there is a monthly meeting open to all members at which a guest speaker makes a presentation on a topic of interest, and an annual outing. A monthly newsletter is circulated to all members, and a website and Facebook page provide up to date information on current activities. At 30 September 2024 there were 266 members.
