The principal object of the Trust is the preservation of the Steamship Sir Walter Scott for the benefit of the public, and the primary object of the subsidiary is the operation of the steamship and related tourist complex at Loch Katrine. The Trust's aim is to maintain the quality of the steamship and complex for public enjoyment and to sustain the operation through various projects, programmes and advertising.
