Our centre provides both practical and emotional support for survivors of sexual assault and rape. We provide support education through our team of support workers who work to help survivors deal with the trauma and implement coping mechanisms to help them continue with their lives. We also provide advocacy support to those going through the judicial system which can be incredibly stressful for survivors. Our other main area of work is our prevention team who go out to schools and colleges to help educate young people and ensure there are more suitable discussions around consent and they understand the impact of their actions and behaviours. We work closely with other agencies, NHS and police to improve the services provided across all bodies and raise awareness within our community.
