The charity’s objective is to promote the knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of the arts, especially jazz music as an artform. The company aims to achieve this goal through the promotion of concerts and music festivals, particularly Aberdeen, Dundee and Islay Jazz Festivals. As well as festival production Jazz Scotland delivers an educational programme, artist development initiatives, and works ethically with community partners to produce meaningful activity.
