he Glenesk Trust is a community organisation in the most easterly of the Angus glens. Our mission is to foster and share a passion for and understanding of Glenesk, by connecting our visitors with its past, present and future. This is primarily achieved through the running and promotion of Glenesk Folk Museum. The values of Glenesk Folk Museum are to: ? Celebrate the uniqueness of Glenesk. ? Place the museum and the community at the heart of our activities. ? Connect stories, people and place to develop resilience and passion. Engage actively with our community, visitors and wider museum partners. ? Respond imaginatively to change. ? Be transparent and accountable to maintain high standards. The Trust oversees a Trading Company that operates the retail and hospitality offer which generates income for the benefit of the Trust to achieve its objectives. The Trust has a range of ways in which it raises funds including the museum shop, cafe, voluntary donations, and workshops.
