The charity is set up to promote the Christian faith by showing the love and service to those around the church. This means a) providing facilities for public worship and prayer and opportunity for personal reflection and spiritual development. b) raising awareness and understanding of Christian faith and how its beliefs and practices can provide help, encouragement and guidance in every aspect of life and work. c) providing regular activities where physical and emotional well-being and self-esteem are enhanced. d) giving companionship and providing relief from social needs including loneliness, disability, poverty, addiction, isolation and exclusion. e) providing practical support and encouragement to those who are elderly, housebound, sick or terminally ill or bereaved.
