Wild Things! Environmental Education in Action

About

Wild Things! delivers a suite of intergenerational, community-focused health and wellbeing programs that encompass all age groups in the North East of Scotland. We work with primary and secondary schools, older people living independently, and residents in care homes promoting the charity's purpose. Our programs are outdoor-based where possible and with our care home programs bring nature indoors to the residents. In addition, we deliver rewilding projects, removing invasive non-native species to help create a more biodiverse habitat for insects and animals and reintroduce local native species. We also offer accredited learning courses to upskill and empower educators and environmental enthusiasts to gain qualifications, confidence, and inspiration to deliver outdoor learning experiences in their own contexts.
