Recap is a Community Furniture recycling project which is based in Cumbernauld and started in 2003. Recap has the three main aims and objectives Reduction of poverty and hardship within the local Community Environmental – Waste reduction and diversion of goods going to landfill Economic – provide local jobs and volunteering opportunities. 3. Operations Recap collects household furniture and electrical goods, and then refurbishes and redistributes at affordable prices to individuals and families. Recap is a charity and through a referral scheme many homeless persons
