To relieve the needs and isolation of older people by providing practical support and advice to help said older people live independent lives and in particular those who are excluded and/ or isolated,from society with a view to improving their conditions of life. To preserve and protect the good health and advance the education of single parent families. To promote the benefit of children and young people, ordinarily resident within areas covered by Aberdeen City Councill and Aberdeenshire Council, or any successor body, who are fostered by seelting to ensure that they receive the highest standard of care (provided that nothing herein shall relieve the saidlocal autilorities of their statutory igat obligation of care towards foster children)with a a view to ensuring that such children grow to full maturity as individuals and members ot society.
