About

We are an established voluntary and managed community hall serving the people of Govan and its surrounding areas for over 40 years. We are currently a charity SCIO working in one of the poorest areas of Scotland, Riverside in Govan Glasgow. We aim to improve the quality of life by empowering the local people to help reduce social isolation within our community. To provide a community hall operated by local people and for the benefit of the local people, provide volunteering and job opportunities for local people, to promote community development, to encourage the community to become socially and physically active. to help reduce social isolation within our local community, promote health & wellbeing within our community. Provide a safe community venue by delivering a programme of community led activities, both socially and physically. We are open 7 days per week (9am-9pm) we house over 30 groups, clubs and self empowering organisations with local volunteers.
