The charity, also known as the TV Foundation aims to help individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds gain knowledge and experience, supporting them in the early stages of their career and giving them access to valuable workshops and classes. The charity runs career development programmes and event based initiatives. The charity aims to improve inclusivity and diversity, provide opportunities for those who would not be able to access without assistance, maintain an archive of content.
