North Yell Development Council

About

North Yell Development Council is a community development group with membership open to residents in our geographic area. Consultation in our area is undertaken to determine community priorities and produce a community development plan. The owns a windfarm through a subsidiary company, with profits donated to NYDC. The profits are used to implement the development plan and so provide benefit to the community. The group also earns income from infrastructure provided to promote economic development. This includes a marina and business park. The group has recently purchased a local shop under a subsidiary company. This provides a vital service for locals and visitors.
