To offer a range of cultural and environmental activities to encourage people to enjoy and raise their awareness of the greenspace around the Dighty Burn, to understand benefits of this connectedness and to help to maintain the valuable biodiverse area. This is done through the development and delivery of workshops to engage children and adults to participate in indoor and outdoor experiences, which are often skill-building. These include the creation and installation of mosaics and other artistic activities. Often featuring local wildlife images, they offer an educational function. We also engage members of the public to collect opinions to help create new activities and we install functional facilities, such as benches, for people to further enhance their leisure time around the burn.
