Founded in 2000, New Start Highland is a charity and social enterprise that creates positive change for people exiting homelessness or trying to move forward from a place of crisis. We offer housing support, employability training, cooking classes, energy advice, a community food hub, bike refurbishment, and a wide range of volunteering opportunities. We receive grants from charitable foundations and government. we deliver key services under framework agreements with local government. Our trading subsidiary operates retail stores across Highland and runs a removal, house clearance and storage service as well as order fulfilment for NHS Highland.
