EDAS is a catalyst for improving economic development in Scotland by enhancing the knowledge, skills, and networks of those involved in the field. It works across all sectors to connect key stakeholders in building a thriving economy, supporting the prosperity and wellbeing of Scotland’s people, businesses, communities, and environment. For over 25 years, EDAS has been the leading membership body representing those involved in economic development, with over 3,000 members. EDAS is known for offering high-quality events featuring expert speakers, policy briefings, knowledge sharing, practitioner networks, and university-level CPD courses. Its current policy themes are People, Place, Prosperity, and Planet.
