The charity's purpose is to raise sufficient money in order to pay the stipend of the Rector of St Laurence' Episcopal Church, Laurencekirk. this is done through contributions from associated congregations and from investment income. The fund also provides a means of receiving charitable collections and for dispersing these collections to the relevant charities.
