Isle Martin Trust

We run community clean up days which is well attended by the non regular volunteers. The ferry to the island is subsidised and run by the trust for all locals with free passage for children. The island garden is utilised and jam made from its fruit. There are regular events themed on the history of the island, the various seaweeds and fishing industry. The hostel brings in visitors to enjoy the peace and feel of an isolated island with the various hill walks and planted woodlands.
