The Ayrshire Community Trust (TACT) exists to strengthen communities, reduce inequality, and empower people across North Ayrshire. We do this by supporting individuals, volunteers, and local organisations to thrive. Our work includes delivering employability programmes, wellbeing support, digital inclusion, community development and person-centred assistance through projects such as Positive Pathways, the Kindness Krew, and Saltcoats Link Up. As a partner in the Third Sector Interface, we provide training, governance guidance, funding support, volunteer development, and capacity-building for community groups. We also help organisations take ownership of local buildings and land through Community Asset Transfer. By bringing people together, offering practical and emotional support, and enabling community-led action, we help create connected, confident and resilient communities where everyone has the opportunity to participate and succeed.
