Galashiels Local Relief Fund

About

The object of the Fund shall be to raise money by way of voluntary donations or otherwise and to receive gifts in kind and to accept bequests of money or specific articles ('donations'), to enable the Fund to assist, by monetary grants or gifts in kind or otherwise, such persons residing in Galashiels qualifying for consideration either through need or age as determined by the Executive Committee having regard to the origin and source of the donations which shall allow the distribution of donations paid over to the Fund by Scottish Borders Council from Trusts and bequests administered by Scottish Borders Council.
