The trust fund and income is to be applied for the benefit and furtherance of (a) Church of Scotland and their congregations together with organisations involved with such churches, (b) charitable organisations concerned with welfare, development and education of children and young people, (c) charitable organisations concerned with people with disabilities, the aged, ill, infirm, deaf, blind or infirm including organisations concerned with medical research, treatment and preventative medicine, (d) any charitable appeal set up following a local, national or international disaster and (e) any charitable organisations concerned with preservation, protection and development of land, buildings and collections of scientific, historic, scientific, architectural, artistic of aesthetic interest.
