North Ayrshire Forum on Disability aims to assist people with disabilities, long term conditions or mental health issues to achieve their full potential, challenge discrimination and to enable individuals to live as independently as possible in their own community. We do this by providing information, advice and various services, groups and activities to increase confidence, develop life and social skills and address barriers to participation/inclusion, therefore reducing social isolation. We make sure that we always adopt a personal and flexible approach to suit individual need and being voluntary managed by people with disabilities themselves, allows us to ensure that our ethos of empowerment and independence for all, remains at the core of everything we do.
