About

The Ripple Project is a community-led charity and social enterprise in Edinburgh focused on tackling poverty, inequality, social isolation and improving quality of life for people of all ages in the Restalrig, Lochend and Craigentinny areas. It works with local residents to create and deliver services that are accessible and responsive to local needs, helping people to help themselves. Ripple Project Key activities include running a community café, lunch clubs, social and wellbeing activities, exercise and walking groups, creative and drop-in sessions, and specific services for older adults. The Ripple also offers wellbeing programmes, volunteer opportunities, support with skills, social connection and activities designed to improve physical and mental health and reduce isolation. Volunteers of all ages help deliver its services, and many participants go on to become volunteers themselves, reinforcing community resilience and inclusion.
