Western Isles Community Care Forum is a forum for voluntary care organisations in the Western Isles. We are a voice for them at planning and consultation levels and represent them and statutory groups. WICCF is a vehicle of communication for statutory bodies to disseminate information. WICCF also support unpaid carers by seeking funding and administering projects which assist carers. These projects include offering unpaid carers support and training, providing social groups, provide an online Personal Assistant Directory, respite breaks and grants. WICCF produce regular newsletters (for adult and young carers) and provide information on a regular basis including a discount/benefits card to unpaid carers living in the Western Isles.
