About

Lothian Autistic Society was set up in 1992 by parents who wanted to make life better for their children who were on the autism spectrum. The Charity is now the principal provider of social activities for autistic children and young people across the Lothians. We have developed a suite of activities tailored to the changing needs of children and young people through their school years. These activities, at evenings, weekends and during school holidays, create spaces where autistic children are supported to have fun, grow, and make friends with their peers while their carers get vital breaks from caring, reducing the impact on family life.
