The Society is set up to advance education and promote good practice in contamination control for the benefit of public health. It achieves this by organising seminars, training events and knowledge-sharing activities for its members and others with an interest in contamination control. Training and educational opportunities are provided at reduced cost to improve accessibility and support professional development, The Society also encourages the sharing of best practice and contributes to the development and standardisation of effective contamination control methods
