ELGT aims for everyone in Edinburgh and the Lothians has access to quality greenspaces to help support health and wellbeing. ELGT delivers an inspiring, far-reaching and imaginative programme of environmental improvement and community involvement projects which are designed to benefit people and nature, landscape and heritage and to re-connect people with their natural environment. ELGT works in partnership with our stakeholders to develop and deliver the following strategic priorities: - Greenspace And People - Deliver accessible, biodiverse and climate resilient greenspaces. - Climate And Nature - Develop and deliver projects that address climate change and biodiversity loss. - Active Travel - Deliver green active travel projects and encourage greater use across the network. - Health - Deliver accessible and inclusive health improvement programmes with a focus on areas of disadvantage.
