Provision of grants to any young journalist or journalists, under the age of thirty, born or then working in Aberdeen or the North East and North of Scotland (which area shall be deemed to extend as far south as, but no further than Stonehaven, and shall also include Orkney and the Shetland Islands), for maintenance in times of need. for the furthering of education, whether by way of travel or instruction and for the maintenance of his or her dependants in time of need. The trustees have full liberty to make distributions to any young journalist as hereinbefore defined for such other charitable purposes as they may think proper. Trust Funding Applications are promoted through Peterkins website & by word of mouth through Aberdeen Journals.
