About

To own and manage the Community Hall for the benefit of all island residents. To run the hall as a place of welcome, relaxation and communication to encourage physical and mental health where all can belong and participate in community life. We run a motorhome and caravan facility with electric hookups to encourage visitors to stay for more than a day visit. We also own a run the Fetlar Community Growing Project, 4 polycrubs sited next to the Stakkafletts housing development. Eleven growing beds can be booked by residents on an annual basis for growing fruit, vegetables and flowers. This project benefits physical and mental health, community relationships and integration as well as giving very local access to fresh produce and reducing food miles.
