Shetland Civic Society

About

The Society was originally set up to stimulate public interest in, and care for, the beauty, history and character of Shetland, its environment and built heritage. It has in the past pursued these aims through meetings, visits to places of interest, sponsorship of an annual environmental award, and also its own award. As noted previously interest had waned but it is hoped a fresh new committee can be set up.
