About

1. To provide an educational service to promote responsible dog ownership in Scotland. This includes visits to schools and other interested groups. We have an educational video which is available to all schools in Scotland. 2. to further the role and the care of dogs in Scotland either directly or in co-operation with Government, Local Authorities, and other organisations, whether charitable or not, in Scotland. 3. Our Therapet Service under which volunteers and suitably assessed dogs visit a range of institutions to provide Pet Therapy to patients, residents, employees, and students. Institutions include NHS Hospitals, Care and Nursing Homes, Prisons and Secure Units, Airports, Fire Stations, Schools, commercial and industrial businesses. 4. Our much acclaimed 'Reading With Dogs' programme helps children in school who lack confidence in reading aloud.
