The Company is a charity and prinipal activity is the provision of support and relief to selected persons resident in the burgh of Alva by way of contributions and housing accommodation. The oundation provides ooutings for the elderly over the summer months and hosts light lunches and sing-alongs in oour Social Centre in Autumn and Winter. Provides special relief to families in need at Christmas and financial gifts to the elderly also at Christmas. We provide support to the local Food Larder and also provide support to a youth organisation which helps young vulnerable youths. And the foundation maintain its housing stock and grounds to a very high standard with the tenancies available to the elderly within the community.
