The objectives of the charity are to promote interest in Summerlee HeritageTrust, to assist Summerlee in maintenance, extension and display of its collections, to help the work of Summerlee HeritageTrust in the field of education, leisure and to encourage its us as a cultural centre and to obtain financial support from central and local government educational authorities, charitable trusts, the local business community and th general public.
