The charitable objectives are providing financial support to members and their families who are in need (which the Incorporation achieves through making grants to those in need), to bring on those who are in education in the Incorporation's traditional activities (which it does through the awarding of prizes and scholarships) and to help the people of Glasgow (which it does through making awards to charities and other organisations which exist to provide services to the people of Glasgow and the surrounding area).
