To promote the welfare and relieve the neds of patients of Inverurie Hospital during their stay and during rehabilitation whether in hospital or in their own homes and of others in the community who are sick, convalescing or who are mentally or physically disabled by the provision of care and facilities over and above the statutory responsibility of Grampian Primary Care Trust or its successors. To create, encourage, foster and maintain the interest of the public by providing a link between the hospital and the community which it serves.
